Belgo - You should go. I came in here with a friend and she had been banging on about it for ages, we had the set lunch time menu which was really good value for money, and the portion sizes were large.

I love Belgo's. If you're not inspired and just want good hearty food then it's the place to go.
It's Belgian themed and the staff are randomly dressed in monks robes. There's a huge range of beers and briliant schnapps sticks where you can get up to 48 shots of schnapps in a big line!
Food is mainly meats, and fish. Probably not great if you're a veggie. I love the mussels and the croquettes. The steak is often overcooked though.

If you are NOT looking for fine dining in town and you love Mussels, lobster, belgian sausages or rotisserie chicken and Belgian Beer, then you are in the right place at Belgos restaurant. In a good location for shopping, lunch or dinner at Belgos is a must. They do really good deals like set menus for £5 or 'beat the clock' offers in the evening, where you the amount you pay relates to the time you eat. ie 6pm = £6. You will still have some change for a nice belgian pint if you have ony got a tenner. However, sometimes you have to wait a while to be seated due to its popularity with workers and tourist alike but there's an upstairs bar that is open in the evenings where you can have a drink while you wait. The service is fair and the tables are social (canteen style) so not the best if you are looking for something more intimate. They can also cater for large parties with 2 different sized dining Tunnels with set menus for group dining. Great prices for great food.
