Never fails to satisfy

04 Nov 08, 18:56 5* Beyond expectations

If you're ever in the Covent Garden area around lunchtime, this is by far the tastiest, most wholesome food you can get. I cant think of many places in London that you can eat vegetarian food this good. Its not cheap, but you can tell all the ingredients are quality and cooked with love.. You definitely have avoid the lunchtime peak if you want a table, as this place is tiny!

Dont eat meat

I dont eat meat so this place is a little god send. Its ace, the food is fresh and amazing and they change their menu alot so you are always able to chose something different. There are not many places that cater for veggies so this place is brilliant, i always think im being healthy here.

Veggie bliss

08 May 08, 11:22 3* As expected

Vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden. Serves excellent quiches, salads and special dishes.

Rather small seating area below street level, with an even smaller bar area upstairs.

Takeaway option advised at busy times. Vegan options also available.

Go Early/Late To Avoid The Queue

04 May 08, 17:23 4* Above expectations

Good quality dishes from good quality ingredients. The quiches are always great but so is everything else - I've yet to have a bad dish from here. It's not particularly cheap, but you get what you pay for I guess.

Takeaway service is well-mannered and efficient but queuing at peak times is the norm.

The "Strawberry Scrunch" is always tempting - a crunchy biscuit base with fresh cream, bananas and strawberries. Nice.

Heartwarming

24 Apr 08, 17:24 4* Above expectations

Good stews and casseroles in the winter, or quiches in the summer. Eat in or takeaway. All vegetarian friendly. Always overcrowded - the queue is usually going up the stairs, and there's never any free tables. Go after the lunchtime rush and you might get lucky though.

body help

Like all vege places, this place is also good for your body. I love neals yard area and this is one of my favourites. Crispy stir fries and quiches are excellent. Its small but worth squeezing into.

worthy

Prepare yourself for queues at this insanely popular place but if you feel like meat, stay away! This is veggie cuisine at it's most worthy.

The menu is different all the time and although I've never eaten in I'm led to believe it's nice. It's great for takeaway lunches though and making your work mates feel unhealthy.

Be good to yourself

10 May 07, 08:36 3* As expected

This vegetarian restaurant near Covent Garden has great dishes at great prices. You can grab a take-away from upstairs or venture downstairs to the small dining area - be prepared to queue though, this place is popular. The menu featuring soups, stirfries, and exotic dishes changes daily. Vegans are well catered for and dishes containing wheat are highlighted. The cakes are great, and so wholesome you can almost kid yourself you're being healthy.
