Beyond expectations
The Blue Elephant is amazing. The decor and ambience make this restaurant one of my faves and the fact that the food is great too makes it a must visit place to eat drink and have a good time. when you walk in its like your in the rainforest or somewhere, surrounded by trees, plants, flowers, ponds, bridges, fountains, etc my list could go on. The staff are lovely and tend to your ever need. This restaurant will set you back a pretty penny but its all worth it.

As expected
The Blue Elephant embodies thai kitsch with its river packed with koi carp, wooden bridges and tons of foliage. Somehow, though, it gets away with it with good humour. The food's decent and the mai thais are amazing. Good for a girly night out, you'll feel looked after.

If you want to have a seriously good Thai meal, the Blue Elephant is amasing.
I would save it for special occasions as it'll make a really big hole in your wallet. Their food is really delicate and light, not greasy like some Thai places.
They do a range of levels of spices, so if you don't like it too hot there's something for you. Or if you like to have your mouth blown off - they'll sort you out too!
