Good family club friendly staff and players who always have time for fans outside the game before and after the match. Nice sized ground with good views from either part of the stadium

Endearingly old fashioned with wooden seats and a 'neutrals' section, Craven Cottage is one of the last truly unique football stadiums in England. Right on the river and regularly populated by tourists who just want to see some top flight football while they're in London, don't expect a great atmosphere but do expect a good afternoon and three points!

This is the only place I've been to thats quieter than Arsenals home ground. The fans seem to think its a chore to watch this lot, and to be honest the team aren't exactly inspiring. A small stadium on the side of the Thames, that somehow wuill be showing Premier League football next year.

Top London location
14 May 08, 17:08
Beyond expectations
Contrary to previous reviews this is a great place to visit on a Saturday afternoon if you want to watch Premiership football. Yes, that's PREMIERSHIP football.
The club itself is a homely club with a welcoming atmosphere from the supporters to the staff. If it's fast food cuisine you are after then all needs are catered for, or if you are into architecture then you have a Grade 2 listed building built into the palace that is Craven Cottage.
There is a club superstore in the ground so you can pop in and purchase your new replica shirt before strolling alongside the River Thames and making your way in to support the oldest London club in the Premiership.
Well worth a visit....

Experience of football’s yesteryear

The 19th century cottage located in one corner of the famous old ground is just one unique feature of Fulham FC’s home ground.
In the modern era, when identical looking stadiums are the norm. Craven Cottage bucks the trend, giving its visitors a real taste of football how it used to be.
Its location, right next the River Thames and opposite Bishops Park, means the ground easily has the most picturesque setting in the Premiership. The pubs and restaurants of Fulham Palace Road are ideal on a match day.

as much as i love to see as many london clubs in the premiership as poss, this old little club is very poor when you consider the quality of teams/ stadiums we have in the premiership!!

Since the departure of Chris Coleman, Fulham have slipped way down and could taste relegation at the end of the season.
Take public transport as Fulham is impossible to take a car to, park it and pick it up again without getting clamped or stung for a massive parking charge.

Sadly for Fulham, it seems next season will be spent playing in the Championship. Since their arrival in the Premiership they have stabilised without achieving great things. They have a decent manager in Roy Hodgson but he hasn't managed to galvanise the players and it seems their fate for the season has been sealed. Still, one less London club in the Premiership isn't a bad thing!
