Eight Over Eight

Lovely atmosphere, great cocktails

Had a pre yuletide supper with some of my favourite people at Eight over Eight last night. I've previously only frequented the bar which can be overcrowded and a bit stressful. The restaurant experience is quite the opposite, great relaxed service, lovely bustling atmosphere and the menu was ecclectic and delicious. Great cocktails, lovely ambient lighting. Small but perfectly formed.

So yummy - food is delicious and you don't come away feeling stuffed which is always a bonus. Service is good but they do have a 2 hour turn around on each table which can be quite annoying. Still I do love it. Cocktails are fab but bar can get very busy.

I was here on Saturday, you have to pretty much stake out the bar and hawk around to find a spot to sit - this place is popular and small so you have to be strategic.

Great cocktails though.

I went to Eight Over Eight recently because the place i wanted to go to was shut. We didnt eat, we just went for drinks.

They have a good selection of cocktails and they are prepared and seved with style and fun! The bar had a good atmospher and a comfortable amout of people (you could breath but didnt rattle around!) I will go there again thats for sure.

I've never eaten here (though I'm told it's great)but I have been very drunk in the bar which serves the meanest cocktails. It's horribly expensive but the place has a naughty, sophisticated atmosphere. This is right up near worlds end so there isn't much else up here so it's worth remembering.
