Well below expectations
There were two assistants in an otherwise empty shop when I arrved I stated my fairly detailed requirements, and the younger assistant promptly got entirely different shoes from the shelf (eg slip on when I wanted lace up). Not much help was offered when I tried on shoes, and when I tried the second pair they couldn't find the second shoe! End of visit.
What really irked was the failure to seem especially interested or concerned.

Well below expectations
I found this shop to be chaotic, the staff moody, and the advice dodgy.
They measured our child's feet but when they did not have the size they thought she needed changed their recommendation to the a smaller size, one they did have in stock. When we got home it was clear that the shoes were too small but the shop refused to change them.
Great for kids shoes/non-trendy footwear

Above expectations
Good local shoe shop, especially for kids. Good range of Clarks kids shoes, nice and solid for the little whipper-snappers. The staff are very good and patient with kids, and prices are very reasonable. I got some 'dad sandals' from here, but I'm not sure i should be admitting this in public on the interwebs.
