It's cool to play pool

This is one of the best places in Bristol for a game of Pool.
It's a very cool bar with a good choice of spirits..
You can hire a room upstairs too for parties.

I've seen some real lairy characters falling out of this place. It was pretty cool when it first opened but think it's gone down hill since & so have some of the clientele. Nice in summer when the windows are open. But can also get hideously busy... and anyway there are sooo many nicer places for people watching in this part of town.

Great location and pricey with it

The location is fab, Park Street half way in the middle! Pretty pricey though... more fool me it was my round and fancied Vodka Red Bull's... £20.50 for 3 but they were doubles!
You'd think as well that by charging such prices they'd be able to afford to reupholster their seats.

Park Street

This bar is ridiculously expensive, but you can kind of expect that on Park Street. You can hire the upstairs room for free if you guarantee a certain amount of taking on the bar, but the sound system upstairs sucks.
The bar staff are wicked and cool, and there are two pool tables that you can play on by the half hour. The nicest time to go to the Elbow Rooms is on a sunny day when they have the big front windows open.
I usually go there if I happen to be wanting a late nightcap because it stays open later than most, but the Woods (formerly Park Avenue Bar) is just up the street and also stays open late.

Elbow your way into this cool bar

The Elbow Rooms near the top of Park Street is a stylish little bar which features heavily on most people's nights out. The prices are a little steep (but then it is in Bristol Uni territory) but it's always a good craic and a decent crowd to mix with. I'd certainly recommend it, but I'm not going to rave on about it like it's the bar in Bristol.
