Leave with clean clothes... and maybe someone you've picked up
I've spent a fair bit of time here... staring at the black and white checkered floors, the rickety old orange washing machines, even the small hairline crack along the back left of the ceiling, but nothing is more impressive than the girl who joins me for a wash on Sunday afternoons. Definitely helps pass the time...

Pushed in and out - but worth it for the Peking Duck!
Located in London's China Town where you're spoilt for choice, this is the place that always makes you wait for a good 10 minutes. But never fear, the way they push the food and the people in and out, it's worth the wait. Tuck into the Peking Duck but bring some friends... it's huge!

Always busy
I stumbled across this when out with friends, looking to find a bite to eat on a Tuesday evening. When we entered a few tables were occupied, but within half an hour the place was full. A local favourite in the property industry, who all have offices in the area, the quality of our meals was high and the extensive wine list extremely reasonably priced. The creme brulee for dessert was delicious!

Review of Atari-Ya Foods Sushi Takeaway

A well kept secret
Just off busy Oxford Street, is this tiny little sushi bar, who make up deliciously fresh sushi and sashami right before your eyes. While slightly pricey, it is worth it for the quality. Not really a place to linger, there are only two small tables. Most customers are local office workers. What I love is how many Japanese people are always in there - always a good sign! The staff are extremely friendly, always calling out hellos and goodbyes while you enter and leave the shop. A more authentic experience then the nearby Yo-Sushi.

Just like there's an old Italian lady out the back...
This quaint and unassuming restaurant is a hidden gem, except the locals seem to be onto it. From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded with the waiters as they speak Italian to one another. With a wood fire oven and incredible pasta's it's a must if passing by.
Even better if you're on your way to watch the footy in Fulham on match day, they have a sizzling sausage and burger stall out the front!

A local favourite
This branch of the chain is the perfect place to stop for lunch when spending a day shopping in Fulham Road. While the pastas servings aren't overly large, they will satisfy for a quick lunch with the bonus of being able to people watch out the large glass windows.

Review of Thai Square Putney

A place to impress without breaking the bank!
Despite being a chain, this restaurant far exceeds the other branches I have visited. With it's fabulous outlook over the river Thames, the upstairs restaurant is stylishly furnished and looks more expensive than the menu reveals. A perfect place to take a date you want to impress without breaking the bank. The food is excellent and the staff, traditionally dressed, sweet and attentive.

The perfect Thai Local
Also known as @Thai, this little local can be everything from your local romantic hangout to the quick and easy pad thai and cheap curry take away... complete with a chocolate with your bill.
If you're lucky you might even spot the owner playing his Thai Style Wooden Xylophone.
