my local
Everything you could ever want from a pub...
a hilarious pub quiz, a fantastic range of ciders, reasonable priced drinks, outside seating which is brillant in the summer, close to town( excellent for starting drinks or pub crawls) backgammon and really friendly staff...
seriously what else would you want???

Review of Robin Hood Retreat

Retreat to the Robin
I love this pub mainly because the food in the retreat is always brilliant. Slightly above average price but definatly worth it. The menu consists of good rustic, filling, food. My fav would be the sausages and mash potatoes, definalty alot more than your box standard bangers and mash! The atmosphere is friendly and cosy. Definatly a little treat for anyone and everyone!

Review of Prince Of Wales

All rounder
If you walk past this pub in the evening it will normally look like the place is full to capacity, thats because it normally is! In the afternoon however there's a more relaxed feel. Beer is average price. The beer garden is always buzzing even in the afternoon. It's great for pre- town drinks and a lively afternoon drink!

Review of The Highbury Vaults

lovely pub
The highbbury Vaults is a small but cosy pub with a brilliant beer garden with lsubstantial seating and heating. The atmosphere is chilled which is perfect for a couple, an afternoon pint or a good ol' chin wag with a couple of mates. There is a good choice of wines, real ales and cider and all at resonable prices. A nice little gem.
