i used to enjoy wanderinging around here imbetween (or during) lectures at uni a real treat to have it smack in the city centre for all to enjoy

dont do it 
if you're really unlucky you might even get an earfull of abuse from this lot if you phone up to enquire about a late taxi. A bit of advice....if they say 10 mins they probably mean 45.

i would say you have a 50/50 chance of you cab turning up on time if you order from here and they dont seem too bothered about that either - still worth ringing them tho because they are tonnes better than some others in the city

fright night 
never go here after dark its seriously scary.
however its great for feeling at home in a proper bristolian part of bristol none of this westbury rubbish if you please. the store is ok, resonable, functional, its more about having a laugh at the locals here ur bound to see something illegal happening every time you visit - good for a laugh if nothing else

its an ok pub but the food is all its got going for it really - the staff are a bit miserable and havent got a clue how to serve people in turn which make for a frustrating and infuriating visit. theres not real atmosphere to the place it all seems a bit stale.

does its job
to be honest there isn't much to comment on here i enjoyed the film but the over all cinema experience wasn't anything to write home about. the staff were friendly enough but looked like they didn't want to be there at all and there was minging bits of food stuck to the char from the screening before us. it was ok.

i wanna live here
i could spend a fortune in Ikea amazing and affordable - my only gripe is with the lay out. I went in to find 4 cups the other day and it took what felt like hours to actually find them while you follow the yellow brick road round the entire store.

not great
the lizard lounge is ok but nowhere near as good as the staff think it is. the bouncers are arrogant and to be honest its a bit of a dive when you get in - the main thing it has going for it is that the drinks are relatively cheap and the music is pretty good - bang up to day chart stuff on a friday night.

head to antix when you have been thrown out of the bar where you have spent most of your evening and dance the night away till the early hours its a perfect late venue for the more hardcore among you. A good mix of music from R&B and dance. a real mix of people inside but always a friendly atmosphere.
