Review of Gabys Deli

Great healthy food, great price 5*

I love this place. The food is fresh, tasty and good for you. What more could you want? They've obviously been there for years and are well established. The best part about it is it's great value for money. That said it's slightly more expensive to sit down and have lunch but the take away boxes are great value. Well worth a visit. Their falafels are to die for!

Review of French Table

Fantastic romantic restaurant 5*

If you are looking for a romantic night out this is the place for you. The food is of excellent quality. The service is amazing. You'll have to book early though as it is often full weeks in advance. You might get a table through cancellation so it's worth calling. They have 2 sittings so be aware that if you go to the early one you'll be rushed. The good thing is is that Rubicon is a few doors down so you can always pop in there for a few cocktails

Review of Piglets Playcentre

Great play centre - new and clean 5*

This is a really really good play centre for toddlers. It's a recent development run by a mum who realised there was a gap in the market. The interior is really well done. It feels spacious and clean. The indoor frame is great. Not too big but enough to keep the kids occupied. The best bit is they have outside area too. With farm animals (pigs, gens, rabbits that you can pet) and they give you food so you can feed the goats etc. I really relaxed atmosphere. A great place if you want to hire it for a kids party. Ther food is really good (they cater with finger sandwiches and carrots, cucumber etc) I'd really recommend a visit.

Review of The White Swan

Best kept secret in Richmond! 5*

Great little pub that does excellent food (especially sunday lunches). Often good to book ahead for a table at the weekend if you don't want to be let down.

Small garden in the back but pretty kid friendly in general.

Review of Marney's Village Pub

16 Apr 08, 18:39

Mickelle R 5*

The best pub in Esher. It's setting is amazing. Overlooking Marney's pond, next to a White Wooden Church and surronded by weston green common. This pub is great to go to after the races at Sandown Park. The pub itself is small (all the old locals go there) but the beer garden in excellent. Whilst it's not kiddy friendly in the winter (kids aren't allowed in the bar area) in the summer it comes into it's own as kids can run around to their hearts content! It's alittle gem of a pub. Great if you have visitors over. The food is excellent. Really really good (although it does get busy in the summer and there are wierd times of service. ie it's not all day) If you want a traditional, original English country pub - definitely go.
