Review of Habitat

Pricey, but lovely, furniture
Habitat has been a byword for tasteful but trendy furniture since the 60s. Now, I like they're stuff, it is a bit pricey, but you're supposed to pay for quality, right? Well, a lot of their pricing seems to be taking the pi**, some of their sofas cost as much as a car, but I can't see where the money goes. Also, they seem to have moved away from the focus on furniture and now try to get you to buy a load of tat which is themed with their collection - hence the abundance of plastic/wooden trinkets you get around the store. I'm sure Sir Terence would not have allowed this on his watch. And their website is also a fantastic example of what happens when you let marketing teams control a company's web presence - great to look about, about as useable as a wodden sandwich.
