ah, the Scumdial 
Was the office pub when Yahoo was based round the corner. Unremarkable place, except it shoulkd get a blue plaque for being the place where the turbo shandy was invented.

worth a few mins walk from Victoria 
If you're looking for a decent, reliable Thai in Victoria this one does the good. Food is great, nothing outlandish, but they get it right. Prices are reasonable, service is good, and I can't really fault it.

high quality chocs
Forget Thorntons and their ilk, if you want to impress someone get them some chocs from here. But a word of warning, be prepared because you can't go back once you've started, so either make sure you have enough disposable income for repeat visits or else be prepared to sacrifice something. The chocolate here actually tastes like chocolate, it's like comparing fine wine to a pint of fosters!
