The worst was spare ribs that was suppose to have barbecue sauce on it but tasted like it had gone off. The meat on the bone was also dry and very burnt and tasted odd.

The salt and Chili prawns where over salted,and the chow main was soggy.We were offered credit to 'come back next time and order there again' but to tell you the truth it was that disappointing that we wont be taking them up on that offer.

]]> Sat, 16 Aug 2008 22:05:54 BST Little Miss Couldn't careless http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/wandsworth/putney/bride-groom-shop/tantrums-tiaras-sw156sq.html#r52738 I was recommended by a colleague who had had her dress made at Tantrums & Tiaras and was thrilled with it - so perhaps I'm a one off case - but I suspect not ! -- unfortunately I would say this company very much fit in the part of the London wedding scene I have always hated -- " Give us your money but essentially we don't care if your happy or not as there will be another punter along in a minute" Their attitude is arrogant and rude and I don't think they have ever heard of customer care -- this is unbelievable especially in the wedding dress industry - a girls dress is so important and she should feel fabulous in it and about it -- I had such a bad experience at T&T I actually hated my dress and wore a different one on the day and felt great. I hope no one else ever has this experience with their dress

Reccomend the pub quiz during the week too in the winter ... some good local teams so get your thinking caps on.

We got 50% off our first booking through them and it's now become one of our regular haunts.

Took my girlfriend to Bennaris (Atul Kutchers place) for her birthday and I honestly believe the food at The Chutney was better.

Top value and great staff - try it.

]]> Wed, 06 Aug 2008 21:00:57 BST new manager http://www.welovelocal.com/en/london/wandsworth/balham/pubs/the-balham-tup-sw128jb.html#r52507 well theres a new manager at the tup and what a differance he's making. the place has new projectors and they look fantastic. there's a new menu and the prices are realistic. the quiz on sundays is bigger and better and he tells me that a new dj starts soon on fridays playing 60's 70's 80's and early 90's. the giant notice boards list all the games they will be showing right up till the end of september. rugby, football and any thing else he can find. this guy seems cool and organised so i will give the tup time and watch my local pub with interest. good luck mate
